About the Role
Responsible for equipment release, process improvement and innovation, solutions development and new technologies integration to current process’s, through continuous improvement. Innovative strategies deployment by applying the Harman Production System philosophy. Technical knowledge sharing through employee trainings.
What You Will Do
- Using Harman´s AME Standard Operating Procedures, ensure pilot Design Validation activities meet the Product Lifecycle Management milestone objectives.
- Work closely with AME FA process engineers to launch, test and validate new tools, machines and processes in Qro plant.
- Equipment commissioning and start-up along with AME FA Process Engineers.
- New projects follow-up through detailed documented planning along with AME FA Process Engineers.
- Key Performance Indicators (Equipment and HPS) monitoring focused in continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Search continuous training and knowledge growth.
- New PF equipment release
- MCRs documentation
- Quoting and PRs creation and approvals follow up
- Support in new production lines studies MSA and SPC, also in PF equipment
- Eng studies support (strain test, torque, thermal paste) and all HOC deliverables.
- PF support in assembly process.
- Equipment and tooling validation (reception, validation and fine tuning)
- Support AME FA process team on daily activities during industrialization builds (EDs, DVs, ATSs, Sos, PVs, R&R)
- Safety work permissions for suppliers working in Harman
- Material exit form for miscelaneous materials
- Moving materials, fixtures, and tooling between plants
- Set up of assembly stations
- DDC material handling
- Creation of assembly recipes
- Beckhoff, Scape and Scada programming
- Epson, Kuka and Samsung robots programming knowledge
What You Need to Be Successful

- Bachelor degree in Automation, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Computer and Programming skills (PLC Programming, C+ code or similar, HMI interface design, SCADA systems, Camera Vision systems, Office: Project, Excel, etc.).
- Networking and computer systems knowledge.
- Pneumatics, Control and Vision Systems Knowledge.
- Measurement System Analysis & Statistical Process Control Knowledge.
- Core Tools Knowledge.
- ESD, Safety and Ergonomics Knowledge.
- Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Knowledge.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions.
- English level A2 (Elementary)
- 2 years of related experience in Process Engineering.
