Team Overview and Job responsibilities

We believe that today’s talents are tomorrow’s global leaders and we are eager to brighten your future! We have an exciting opportunity to join our Purchasing team in Mudanya as a Non-Raw Purchasing Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the Non-Raw Materials Purchasing function, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and sustainable procurement of indirect goods and services while supporting business objectives and operational excellence.

The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the following processes and tasks: 

  • Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies for non-raw material categories, including indirect materials, services, CAPEX, MRO, logistics, facility management, and professional services.
  • Lead strategic supplier management activities, including supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
  • Manage tendering, bidding, and contract negotiation processes to achieve the best total cost of ownership while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Drive cost optimization, productivity initiatives, and value engineering projects across assigned purchasing categories.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain teams to understand business requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, risks, and opportunities to ensure continuity of supply and support informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain supplier performance management processes, including KPIs, scorecards, supplier audits, and improvement plans.
  • Lead supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and supply security.
  • Ensure purchasing master data, pricing information, contracts, and supplier records are accurately maintained in SAP.
  • Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reporting on savings, procurement performance, supplier performance, and category spend.
  • Promote sustainability, compliance, ethical sourcing, and ESG principles throughout the procurement process.
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements and support internal and external audits where applicable.

Who are we looking for?

The Ideal Candidate should have the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Min. 7-10 years of purchasing/procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Proven experience in indirect procurement and category management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Effective negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Promotes collaboration, accountability, and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
