[What the role is]
Senior Executive / Manager, Quality Assurance & Administration supports the Halal Development (HD) cluster in maintaining quality assurance standards and ensuring efficient administrative operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality management processes, maintaining cluster-wide records, and managing facilities and assets to support the effective delivery of Halal certification functions.[What you will be working on]
Lead and coordinate quality assurance (QA) processes for the cluster, including monitoring compliance with established standards, conducting internal reviews, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Lead the preparation, review, and periodic updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other quality management documentation to ensure processes remain current and compliant.
Support and contribute to audit-related activities, including preparation for internal and external audits and follow-up on audit findings.
Maintain the organisation-wide electronic registry (e-registry) for the cluster, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping in accordance with organisational documentation standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities management at the HD office, including liaising with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related matters.
Manage the procurement, issuance, and maintenance of IT assets for the cluster.
Contribute to the cluster's other initiatives and tasks as required.
[What we are looking for]
Tertiary education in Business, Management, Science, Engineering or related discipline; relevant professional certifications in quality systems will be an advantage.
2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance, administration, or operations; experience in a regulatory or certification environment will be an advantage.
Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices, preferably with knowledge of ISO standards.
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Self-driven, independent, and able to work well with others across all levels.
Successful candidate will be appointed on a contract basis.
