Overview

Position: Manager - Finance Operations (9 to 14 years of experience) Job Summary:

The Manager, Finance Operations, leads the offshore finance operations team supporting accounting and transactional finance activities. The role is responsible for managing offshore execution of AP, AR, cash application, cash operations support, routine accounting tasks and sales and use tax activities, while ensuring strong coordination with the U.S. controllership team and driving automation, workflow improvement and practical use of AI to scale offshore delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manages offshore finance operations team members responsible for AP processing, vendor maintenance, Invoice coding, weekly payment processing, AR support, cash application, Collections, bank activity support, reconciliations, invoice research and routine accounting support. • Manages the M&A integration reconciliations for AR and AP • Manage integrations between Workday and various third-party vendors, including our Bank • Manages Client payment portals • Establish daily, weekly and monthly operating rhythms for offshore finance work, including dashboards, aging queues, issue logs, service-level metrics, error tracking and escalation protocols. • Drives process automation, workflow redesign and practical AI use cases to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, shorten cycle times and increase offshore scalability. • Partners with the Controller to transition work offshore, document procedures, train resources, test handoffs and ensure continuity during process migration. • Reviews offshore-prepared reconciliations, journal entry support, AP/AR exception reports, cash application output and tax support schedules for completeness and accuracy.• Coordinates with U.S. accounting, billing, treasury, tax, procurement and operations teams to resolve transaction issues, reduce rework and improve turnaround times. • Builds offshore team capability through coaching, workload management, crosstraining, quality checks, automation discipline and continuous improvement of standardized processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience. • Nine+ years of accounting operations, finance operations, shared services, offshore delivery, AP, AR, cash application, tax operations or related experience. • Six+ years of people leadership, team lead, supervisor or manager experience, preferably in an offshore, shared services or distributed finance operating model. • Experience managing recurring finance processes with service-level expectations, quality controls, exception reporting, process documentation and escalation procedures. • Experience driving process automation, workflow improvement, dashboarding, data validation or AI-enabled productivity improvements in finance operations. • Working knowledge of AP, AR, cash application, reconciliations, sales and use tax support, month-end close support and accounting operations controls. Skills & Abilities: • Ability to identify, prioritize and implement automation opportunities across offshore finance operations, including use of workflow tools, dashboards, exception reporting and AI-enabled process improvements. • Comfort coaching offshore team members on standardized procedures, quality controls, automation discipline and responsible use of AI tools to improve accuracy and cycle times. Shift Timing: 2 PM - 11 PM
