The Deal Manager, also known as Financial Architect, is responsible for designing and structuring commercially viable, competitive, and profitable deals for Unified Communications (UC) opportunities within Mitel’s direct business segment. Acting as a key commercial strategist, this role ensures that pricing models, financial frameworks, and contractual structures align with customer requirements, Mitel’s business objectives, and risk management standards. As Mitel operates as a systems integrator, the Deal Manager will incorporate Mitel services and third-party solutions into cohesive, customer-facing proposals.
Key Responsibilities
• Commercial Design & Structuring: Develop innovative pricing strategies and commercial models that balance competitiveness with profitability.
• Bid & Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Bid Managers, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Services teams to ensure financial solutions align with technical proposals.
• Third-Party Integration: Incorporate partner/vendor pricing and contractual terms into overall deal structures.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Assess financial and contractual risks, ensuring adherence to internal governance.
• Scenario Modeling & Analysis: Perform detailed financial modeling including cost-plus analysis.
• Approval Facilitation: Drive internal approval cycles for pricing and terms.
• Market & Competitive Insight: Leverage market intelligence and competitor benchmarks.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance pricing frameworks.
