We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrist to join our rehabilitation team. This role is primarily focused on acute care PM&R consults, with a particular emphasis on brain injury, trauma, orthopedic and spinal cord injury management, along with the opportunity to help grow a new outpatient PM&R clinic.
Opportunity Details:
• Conduct inpatient PM&R consults across the hospital system for a variety of rehab needs, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal, and medically complex cases
• Provide safe, evidence-based medical management, including spasticity treatment, bowel and bladder programs, comprehensive brain injury and SCI care, and post-operative medical and rehabilitation management
• Assist medical and surgical teams in optimizing next level of care recommendations and disposition planning to support safe, timely transitions
• Collaborate with hospital and rehabilitation leadership on the development and expansion of outpatient rehabilitation services
• Ensure quality outcomes, compliance, and an exceptional patient experience
• Engage in program growth, education, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
• MD/DO, NJ license, DEA/CDS
• Completion of PM&R residency, BC/BE
• Special interest in brain injuries welcome
