Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. You will use technology to document security-related activities, communicate clearly, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patient or visitor concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
