Weighbridge & Quarry Operator
Sancrox Quarry
An exciting opportunity exists for a Weighbridge & Quarry Operator to join our team at Sancrox Quarry, located approximately 15 minutes west of Port Macquarie.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this permanent full-time position is suited to an organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently balance administrative responsibilities with operational support. The role involves early morning starts, working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work as required by business needs.
In addition to managing the weighbridge operations, you will assist with compliance and administrative functions across the site and have the opportunity to operate mobile plant, including a sales loader.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Operate the weighbridge and process all outgoing load tickets accurately and efficiently
Coordinate the daily allocation of the Truck & Dog fleet
Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Manage phone enquiries, customer orders and general administration tasks
Assist with site compliance and ad hoc administrative activities
Maintain office stationery supplies and quarry documentation
Support sales and production activities, including:
Processing purchase orders and cartage adjustments
Liaising with haulage contractors and suppliers
Providing customers with invoices, delivery dockets and supporting documentation
Operate the sales loader and, where appropriately licensed and trained, assist with excavator and dump truck operations

Hold or be willing to obtain mobile plant operating competencies

Front-End Loader ticket
Excavator ticket
Dump Truck ticket
What We Offer
Competitive hourly rate of $33.45 - $36.04 per hour, plus superannuation and applicable penalty rates for overtime worked (dependent on qualifications, licences and experience)
