Description
The Place for Talent
About the opportunity:
The Lease Administrator is responsible for managing the lease administration process across multiple assets within the Charter Hall retail portfolio. This role ensures best practice, quality control, and compliance with legal and legislative requirements, while supporting business objectives through effective stakeholder engagement and process improvement.
The Senior Lease Administrator role is distinguished by its broader scope, higher level of autonomy, and leadership responsibilities. Senior Lease Administrators manage complex portfolios, lead process improvements, and mentor junior staff. They are expected to resolve complex lease issues, conduct advanced financial analysis, and engage with senior stakeholders across the business. Senior Lease Administrators typically have greater experience and technical expertise, enabling them to drive strategic outcomes for the organisation.
How you'll make an impact
Own lease administration for a retail portfolio: Keep lease matters moving across multiple centres by managing documentation, compliance and key milestones with care and accuracy.
Turn lease terms into clear, usable documentation: Interpret commercial terms, special conditions and legislative requirements so documents are prepared correctly and decisions are well supported.
Work closely with stakeholders: Partner with internal teams, legal providers, tenants and advisers to keep lease documentation accurate, consistent and on track.
Improve how work gets done: Review lease administration processes and identify practical ways to improve quality, efficiency and consistency.
Support capability across the team: Share knowledge, support team members and help internal stakeholders understand lease administration practices and legislative changes.
