Overview
A Senior Trainer will deliver and facilitate adult classroom training in support of client programs to ensure superior workforce preparation as well as support the Training Manager in new trainer onboarding and certification process.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate training of the trainers and trainer certification.
- Conduct In-Team Trainers and Trainer class observation, coaching sessions and other assessments/audits as required by the Training Manager.
- Actively partner with the business leaders to identify training gaps and improve performance opportunities.
- Participate in client presentations as needed.
- Deliver onboarding of new in-team trainers and trainers.
- Observe, lead, and co-lead new hires and on-going training.
- Demonstrate skills using word processor and presentation software applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Pages, and Keynote.
- Complete monthly required phone time.
- Conduct a formal walk-through of training materials and work with the Training Manager to provide feedback on the curriculum they deliver.
- Demonstrate effective classroom management skills.
- Facilitate transition of students from training into production, and ensure competency levels are sufficient.
- Participate in client meetings for material and curriculum updates and to ensure appropriate changes are included in future classes.
- Work closely with the Training Manager to develop classroom delivery strategies including multi-media preparation.
- Utilize effective presentation skills including creative training techniques and adult/accelerated learning techniques.
- Complete daily tracking, including end-of-day course evaluations, trainee assessments, attendance, and terminations.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, and HR procedures.
- Perform other training duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School plus at least 12 months of experience as a Trainer in the program or proven proficiency based on the scorecard. If external 2 years as a trainer in the BPO industry.
- Undergo project ASAP, ATAP, Training 101, Training 201. Facilitate training the trainers and trainer certification.
- Experience with Windows and MS Office.
- The primary function of this position is to deliver training in a classroom setting. This may require standing for long periods, using a computer and other business machines extensively.
- While the schedule is generally Monday through Friday, candidates must be able to work between the hours of 5:00 am – 10:30 pm, seven days a week. Trainers must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, holidays, and emergency shifts as required. Trainers may be required to travel for up to four weeks once hired, in order to participate in client-specific training
