Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain thread tapping equipment to produce high-quality threaded components.
• Perform machine set-up, adjustments, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient production.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional prints.
• Monitor product quality and make machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production and quality standards while following all safety procedures.
• Keep work areas organized and contribute to a clean, safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience operating production machinery is preferred.
• Experience with thread tapping equipment or similar machining processes is considered an asset.
• Ability to inspect parts using measuring tools and quality inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensional specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Forklift or reach truck experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physically demanding work, including standing and walking for extended periods.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work a rotating three-shift schedule and overtime when required.
