Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The Global Procurement Data Analytics Analyst supports the Procurement team by analyzing purchasing and supplier data to identify savings opportunities, improve visibility of company spending, and support sourcing and contracting activities across North America.
The role is focused on data analysis, supplier management, and procurement processes, helping the business make better purchasing decisions through accurate reporting and insights.
Your Impact
As a Global Procurement Data Analytics Analyst, you will:
Analyze purchasing, invoice, supplier, and spending data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and Excel models to support procurement decisions.
Monitor pricing trends, supplier performance, and compliance with purchasing guidelines.
Support supplier bidding and sourcing processes by preparing documents, coordinating supplier communication, and organizing responses.
Assist with contract administration and tracking procurement activities.
Help internal teams with supplier quotes, shipment follow-up, and purchasing-related requests.
Ensure data accuracy and provide ongoing analytical support for procurement initiatives.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
General
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality outputs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to support stakeholder interactions and drive data-driven solutions.
Procurement
- Broad understanding of Global Procurement activities, with 2–3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing.
- Experience in Procurement as a Category Owner or within Shared Services organizations, including process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in procurement software such as SAP Ariba Sourcing (RFI, RFP, and eAuctions) is desired.
- Knowledge of contract management and legal aspects related to procurement is a plus.
Analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables) and working knowledge of Microsoft Access. Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets, generate data-driven recommendations, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience with data collection and analysis, including process mapping, root-cause analysis, and identifying efficiency opportunities.
