About the role
We are seeking a Support Officer Logistics to join our team on either a casual basis (3–4 days per week) or full-time for the right candidate.
Elders Pakenham is a leading supplier of agricultural inputs throughout West & South Gippsland, Yarra Valley & Mornington Peninsula. We service the Horticulture & Livestock industries including Vegetables, Flowers, Fruit, Nurseries, Vineyards, Beef, Dairy & Sheep.
As an Elders Support Officer Logistics, you will provide logistics support to the Branch rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. You will be working in a new, state of the art Warehouse and office complex as well as delivering to our customers on farm when required.
Responsibilities
As a Support Officer Logistics you will:
- Provide assistance to sales staff by picking, packing and coordinating deliveries of orders to rural clients.
- Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as needed.
About you
To succeed at Elders, you will have:
- Basic knowledge of general merchandise products and safe storage & handling practices.
- Customer Service skills (desirable).
- A driver’s license and truck licence
- A Forklift License and HR Truck License, or the willingness to become licensed after undertaking training offered by Elders
