More specifically, you will:

You will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while delivering safe, high-quality care every day.

• Provide compassionate, patient centred nursing care within a Radiation Oncology setting
• Deliver patient education and clinical care, including medication administration, symptom management, skin assessments, and wound care
• Coordinate daily patient appointments and clinical workflows to ensure a smooth treatment experience
• Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Allied Health professionals, and Patient Services teams
• Build trusted relationships with patients and their families through effective communication and support
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control requirements, and evidence-based practice standards
• Apply medication safety principles and participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Use structured communication tools such as ISBAR to promote safe and effective teamwork

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A minimum of two years' post graduate nursing experience preferred
• Experience in oncology, haematology, or Radiation Oncology will be highly regarded, although not essential
• Experience in wound care management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• A commitment to delivering best practice patient care and continuous improvement
• An eagerness to learn and develop within a specialised clinical environment
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
