Logistic Specialist
Ayr, ON, Canada
Keep the Logistics and Customs moving and delivering on time. We're looking for a proactive Logistic Specialist to manage key activities in Logistics orders ad also support Customs area across the US and Canada. In this role, you'll work closely with logistics and Customs partners and internal stakeholders to ensure products more efficiently, accurately, and on time. You'll play a key role in driving reports with data, solving complex logistics challenges, and improving processes. Your key responsibilities
- Support with different reports and data from different systems.
- Follow up Brokers on status of order released
- Oversee import and export orders, working closely with brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners to facilitate seamless inbound shipments.
- Maintain logistics documentation, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations, preferably within a complex global organization.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, inventory management, warehouse operations, and third-party logistics (3PL) provider management.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze and manage operational data effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-border shipments, imports, freight forwarders, and customs brokers is preferred.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on customer service, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $59,400-$64,000.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
