Undergraduate Admissions:
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports the university in meeting its strategic enrollment goals and fulfilling the UCF Strategic Plan. It is responsible for coordinating the identification, recruitment, admission and enrollment of all undergraduate first-time-in-college, transfer, non-degree, dual enrollment, early admission and non-Florida public institution transient students. The office leverages the UCF brand to market, communicate and engage with broadly diverse, talented and academically qualified students who will enrich our community and achieve academic and personal excellence.
The Opportunity:
This Admission and Records Coordinator I has the responsibility of providing excellent customer service through efficient and effective processing of application materials and data verification to ensure a smooth enrollment transition for incoming students. The staff in this position are cross-trained to learn various job duties with the Coordinator position in this department.
Responsibilities:
Independently reviews and verifies college transcripts, CLEP, Advanced Placement, IB, AICE, military and international evaluation credit to determine transferability to the university.
Must have full knowledge of and stay current with university policies/procedures regarding transfer credit, including various articulation agreements in effect.
Inputs and or verifies all transfer credit through Raptor and in Student Information System. This information feeds to the student's audit and is used in the advisement of new and current students.
Tracks first term students with incomplete files and manually or electronically requests required information as necessary.
Overall responsible for the efficient and effective processing of transfer credit for incoming undergraduate students to ensure major and enrollment readiness.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education environment, preferably in Undergraduate Admissions.
Familiarity with College, and High school transcripts. Familiarity with Undergraduate academic levels and credentials.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $19.15. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
