🚀 About the role

The Procurement Manager Hispam, reporting to the Regional CFO, is responsible for leading local procurement operations and ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services. This role is accountable for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts within delegated authority, and ensuring alignment with Group procurement policies. Acting as the key procurement partner to the local business, the Procurement Manager Hispam ensures operational excellence, policy compliance, and value delivery. The Procurement Manager Hispam has a dotted line report to the VP of Global Procurement. This role has an indirect responsibility for the Procurement Specialists in each country (Hispam).
 

🚀 Your next challenge

a. Operational Procurement Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process for local goods and services, ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient procurement execution.
  • Ensure purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, contract administration, and procure-to-pay activities are processed accurately and within expected timelines.
  • Support the local implementation of Group procurement tools, systems, workflows, catalogues, and reporting practices.
  • Monitor purchasing activity to identify process bottlenecks, recurring issues, policy exceptions, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that procurement operations support business continuity, cost discipline, service quality, and stakeholder needs.

b. Local Supplier Relationship Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with local suppliers in line with business needs, procurement policies, and risk requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, service levels, responsiveness, compliance, and business continuity indicators.
  • Handle escalation of operational supplier issues and coordinate corrective actions when performance or delivery is below expectations.
  • Maintain visibility on critical suppliers, supply risks, contract coverage, and supplier dependencies within the local perimeter.
  • Support supplier performance discussions, business reviews, and improvement plans where relevant.

c. Contract Negotiation and Administration

  • Lead contract negotiation for small to mid-size suppliers within approval thresholds and in alignment with procurement governance.
  • Ensure that contracts are compliant with Pluxee’s legal, financial, ethical sourcing, data protection, sustainability, and internal control standards.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, business stakeholders, and Group Procurement when contract terms require specialist review or escalation.
  • Maintain records of supplier agreements, commercial terms, service levels, renewal dates, and obligations in procurement systems.
  • Ensure that contract administration supports transparency, audit readiness, and effective supplier management.

d. Compliance, Governance and Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with Group procurement policies, local procedures, approval workflows, budget controls, and internal control requirements.
  • Implement local procurement controls and support audit readiness by maintaining complete documentation and process evidence.
  • Identify procurement risks related to suppliers, contracts, service continuity, regulatory requirements, ethical sourcing, data protection, or spend compliance.
  • Propose and follow up mitigation measures at local level in collaboration with business owners and relevant control functions.
  • Support internal audits, external audits, and procurement reviews by providing documentation, explanations, and action plan follow-up.

e. Internal Collaboration and Procurement Support

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Operations, Commercial, Product, and other business teams to understand purchasing needs and align procurement priorities.
  • Act as a point of contact for procurement queries, supplier onboarding, sourcing guidance, purchase order issues, and process clarifications.
  • Provide procurement reports, spend analysis, supplier information, savings updates, and risk insights to local leadership as required.
  • Support change management initiatives that improve procurement maturity, system adoption, and policy compliance.
  • Promote a procurement culture based on transparency, business partnership, compliance, value creation, and continuous improvement.


 

🌟 You’re a match

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a multinational or matrixed environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Manager, Lead, or equivalent role is desirable.
  • Experience in operational sourcing, negotiation, and supplier performance management.
  • Skills & Certifications: Proficient in ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics or SAP) and e-sourcing tools.
  • Familiar with procurement regulations, compliance standards, and internal controls.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (full conversational level)
