Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a Locksmith. This is a great position for someone who is detail oriented, great with math, and can perform basic repairs related to hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs related to hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware
- Pinning cones, re-pin/re-key cylinders
- Engrave material, package for shipping
- Read production codes
- Cut and issue new keys on key cut machines including high security systems: Schlage, Medeco, and Best
- Operate a variety of equipment and machines, including key duplicating equipment and various hand or power tools
Job Qualifications:
- Reasonable knowledge of all types of locks, fastening devices and related hardware
- Physical ability to lift 100 pounds independently; the ability to bend, climb, and stand for an extended amount of time
- Experience with master key systems is a plus
- Possess a valid driver's license
