Rep Payee Specialist
Mid-Step Services, a non-profit organization serving the needs of children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, is currently accepting applications for a Rep Payee Specialist.
Primary duties:
- Conduct regular, audits of beneficiary financial accounts and ledgers.
- Verify that expenditures are properly authorized, documented, and used solely for the beneficiary's personal care and well-being.
- Review receipt logs, bank reconciliations, and collective account distributions for accuracy.
- Identify compliance gaps and report findings to management
- Prepare the organization for formal, external SSA organizational representative payee reviews.
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, computer skills, knowledge of Social Security Administration regulations is preferred.
