Description
Work closely with the Regulatory, Legal, Corporate Affairs, and ESG teams to align public policy positions and drive integrated advocacy efforts. Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor national and regional legislative developments, produce risk assessments, and prepare reports for senior leadership and Group Public Policy team. Project Support: Support initiatives related to digital inclusion, mobile financial services regulation, data privacy, taxation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure development. Master's degree in law, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory relations (telecoms experience preferred) Strong understanding of the DRC's political, regulatory, and economic environment Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French and English (Lingala is a plus) Proven experience in stakeholder management and policy advocacy Team player with high levels of integrity and discretion Strategic thinking and political acumen Strong interpersonal and networking capabilities Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes Capacity to translate technical matters into clear public messaging Adaptability and proactive problem-solving
