About the role:
- The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing through the implementation of Process related issues.
What you will do:
- Set up line support to enable 24x7 coverage on assembly process issues.
- Monitor KPIs and dashboards daily to ensure performance visibility.
- Ensure a stable process by continuously identifying the risks in the in-process control and firewall.
- Conduct risk assessments and scoping of processes and products.
- Perform root cause analysis, technical simulations, and corrective actions for line and customer issues.
- Drive continuous process capability improvement and establish strong process control and firewall.
- Responsible for characterization of new processes or material changes and implementing controls.
- Benchmark and implement best practices across operations.
- Capacity increase through engineering solutions.
- Performs root cause analysis, technical simulation studies, and corrective actions for customer/line chronic issues.
- Drive alternate source material qualification for cost/DFPC improvement.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with knowledge of semiconductor processes and/or material science.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in process engineering, preferably within semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience in Die-Attach processes, including process characterization, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong proficiency in SPC, DOE, FMEA, DFM, MRAT, change management, problem‑solving analysis, and lean manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) and analytical platforms such as SAS JMP or Minitab.
- Skilled in data‑driven problem solving and capable of applying engineering solutions to improve yield, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Effective leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑oriented attitude and innovative mindset.
- Results‑driven, analytical, and detail‑oriented, with excellent risk‑based thinking.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under pressure, while managing multiple tasks effectively.
