Description
Working with global systems, software, integration and test teams to support development and commercialization of sensor algorithms and features. Sensor feature commercialization support in form factor devices including algorithm performance validation, customer data wrangling and direct customer triage support. Scripting and tool development using C, Matlab and Python. Calibration and validation of sensor data in embedded devices used for algorithm development and performance evaluation. Creating detailed reports on algorithm evaluation results and summarizing key performance metrics and the recommended areas of improvement. Benchmarking sensor related features across commercial products. Helping with sensor data collection campaigns in China. Creation, validation, maintenance and documentation of “training, validation and test data sets” for algorithm and feature development. This includes validating existing data sets, re-purposing them with new modalities and/or creating new data sets via field and lab collects using mobile form factor devices. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related field 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related field Understanding of basics of digital signal processing, linear algebra, probability and statistics. Advanced Machine Learning concepts including supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, classification, logistic regression, Bayesian inference and Neural Networks. Familiarity with ML libraries and packages. Hands-on system level feature debugging experience with embedded devices including debug in customer HW / SW implementation. Previous experience with customer interaction and customer support SW tools. Customer grade SW tool definition and UI experience. Strong programming skills with C, Python and Matlab. Fluency with Git / Git Hub. Knowledge of MEMS & inertial, environmental and physiological sensors and prior experience with associated characterization equipment. Basic understanding of audio sensors, camera sensors and wireless radios (BT, WiFi, GNSS, cellular) in mobile devices extremely beneficial. Previous experience with Linux Embedded, Linux Android, Wear OS, iOS and Windows mobile devices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong written and verbal English skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced global team environment. Bachelor's or master's in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
