Automation Electrical Controls Specialist

• Salary: $77,760 - $97,200 plus annual target bonus

Position Responsibilities:   

• Provide the proper training in Electricity and Controls for the purpose of minimizing automation downtime 
• Develop routines, SOPs, and administer control software to properly maintain the controls assets and maintain and troubleshoot automation equipment from various suppliers 
• Identify and prioritize controls and electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance within a manufacturing and distribution facility 
• Assist the Automation Manager and Supervisor(s) with processes on tracking efficiencies derived from automated equipment 
• Support the supervision of the electrical installation and integration of equipment and controls as well as the installation  
• Assist with installation of automation storage retrieval system (ASRS) 
• Other projects or duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma, General Education Degree or Technical School certificate and 6 plus years of specific experience  

Preferred Education and Experience:  

• Electrical certification, Vocational certification or Bachelor’s Degree
