The Missing Grain is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Barista / Front of House Team Members who enjoy providing excellent customer service. Our front-of-house team creates a welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining the high standards of our 100% gluten-free bakery and café.

 ·      Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service

·      Take orders accurately using our POS system

·      Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, cold beverages, and other café drinks

·      Package and serve bakery and café products

·      Answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients

·      Assist customers with gluten-free and available dairy-free options

·      Maintain bakery displays and customer service areas

·      Restock cups, lids, packaging, beverages, and supplies

·      Clean counters, tables, beverage equipment, and dining areas

·      Follow opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures

·      Communicate clearly with bakery and kitchen team members

·      Follow all food-safety, sanitation, allergen-awareness, and gluten-free procedures

·      Friendly and professional

·      Dependable and punctual

·      Strong customer-service skills

·      Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

·      Willing to learn espresso and beverage preparation

·      Strong attention to cleanliness and order accuracy

·      Barista, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience preferred but not required

·      Weekend availability is required

Employees may not bring gluten-containing food, snacks, meals, beverages, or ingredients into the bakery or café, including food brought for employee breaks.

All personal food brought into the facility must be gluten-free.

Employees must follow all company gluten-free, cross-contact prevention, sanitation, allergen-awareness, and food-safety procedures.
