This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Product Management team where you will be responsible for translating market and stakeholder needs into actionable development plans that will drive growth through product development, training, education and communication. If you are looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact, this is the role for you!
What You Will Be Doing
You will own and drive the development and performance of two key product portfolios: Specialty Metal and Grid. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding the business, identifying opportunities, and turning those opportunities into action.
- Own and drive product portfolio performance, developing a strong understanding of products, markets, customers, competition, and opportunities for profitable growth.
- Understand key portfolio financials, including revenue, volume, pricing, cost, and margin, using data and insights to drive product and commercial decisions.
- Develop and execute the strategic product roadmap, identifying competitive gaps, market opportunities, and differentiated products and systems that support business growth.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product development, launches, improvements, rationalization, and discontinuation, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Engage with customers (architects, designers, contractors) to understand market needs, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, and translate them into actionable product and business opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Technical Services, and Marketing to drive commercial success through product expertise, training, selling tools, CAD/BIM solutions, digital content, and architect/contractor engagement.
- Drive cross-functional execution and continuous improvement, supporting sustainability initiatives, building business cases, and communicating portfolio performance, priorities, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
What You Bring
The Product Manager Specialty Metal and Grid brings curiosity, commercial thinking, and a strong sense of ownership. You seek to understand what drives portfolio performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and proactively turn those insights into actions that improve the business.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or Marketing preferred
- 3+ years of Product Management, Product Marketing, Commercial, or related experience, preferably within manufacturing or building products
- Experience with construction products, distribution channels, or specification-driven markets is an advantage
- Ability to understand key business and financial concepts, including revenue, volume, price, cost, and margin
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actions
- Ability to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means becoming the go-to owner for the Grid and Specialty Metal portfolio: knowing the business, understanding the customer and competition, identifying what needs to change, and driving those actions through the organization.
