Enterprise Application Ownership

• Serve as the functional lead for invoicing, tax, and finance-related enterprise applications.
• Define business requirements and functional specifications for ERP, tax, and invoicing platforms.
• Collaborate with internal development teams, vendors, tax technology providers, and system integrators.
• Support integrations between ERP, invoicing, tax, procurement, customer, and financial reporting systems.

 

Invoice-to-Cash Process Excellence

• Drive optimization of end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, touchless processing, and improved transaction accuracy.
• Improve invoice delivery success rates, payment processing efficiency, and customer experience.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable and Shared Services teams to resolve systemic process challenges.

 

Tax Technology & Regulatory Compliance

• Support indirect tax, VAT, GST, sales tax, and electronic reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Tax to evaluate regulatory changes and assess system impacts.
• Ensure auditability, traceability, and control requirements are incorporated into solution designs.
• Lead compliance testing and validation activities for new implementations and regulatory updates.

 

Project & Solution Delivery

• Lead requirements workshops, process reviews, and solution design sessions.
• Develop business cases, process models, functional specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage business testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and deployment readiness activities.
• Support global rollout, change management, training, and hypercare activities.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, finance systems, invoicing, tax, or business analysis roles.
• 5+ years of experience with INFOR ERP LN 10.7
• Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting electronic invoicing solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Invoice-to-Cash business processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional and globally dispersed project teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting global electronic invoicing platforms and service providers.

Experience with:

• Infor Cloud Solutions (ION, LSP)
• Vertex
• OneStream
• EDI and customer integration platforms
• Knowledge of international invoicing and indirect tax regulations.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or multinational organizations.
• SAFe, Agile, or equivalent methodologies.

• Reduce compliance risks associated with international electronic invoicing mandates.
• Improve invoice automation, processing efficiency, and customer experience.
• Drive standardization across regions while accommodating country-specific requirements.
• Enable successful deployment of new global invoicing and tax technology capabilities.
• Serve as Solar's trusted enterprise applications subject matter expert for invoicing and tax compliance.

 

 

 

Summary Pay Range:

$120,600.00 - $180,900.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
