About the Role
Storm3 is partnered with a fast-growing, venture-backed healthcare AI team building a platform that reduces administrative workload for home health clinicians—helping them focus more time on delivering high-quality care to elderly patients in their homes.
The team is scaling core services that power the platform and launching new Generative AI / LLM-driven workflows embedded into real clinical operations. They’re now looking for a Software Engineer, Full Stack to help build production-grade systems clinicians will depend on every day.
If you’re excited by meaningful engineering challenges, production LLMs, and software that directly improves patient care, this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship services and APIs using FastAPI with MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Help develop APIs and infrastructure integrating LLMs and Generative AI models
- Use AI-assisted development tools to increase velocity while maintaining quality
- Convert prototypes/MVPs into secure, reliable production systems with support from senior engineers
- Improve observability, testing, and code quality across the platform
- Deploy and run services using Docker and AWS
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers via code reviews, design sessions, and hands-on production delivery
You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, basic system design), ideally with Python
- Hands-on curiosity around Generative AI / LLM products (personal projects welcome)
- Exposure to Docker and/or cloud platforms (or strong interest in learning)
- Comfort using AI coding tools, with good judgment to validate outputs
- A product mindset and collaborative approach with cross-functional teams
- Strong ownership and care for maintainable, reliable systems
Why Join?
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- Unlimited PTO
- 401(k) plan
- Opportunity to work on LLM-enabled workflows in healthcare
- High-impact mission improving clinician and patient outcomes
- Backed by top-tier investors and shipping into real-world clinical environments
