Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Crafton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a visible, professional presence, help address security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a high-traffic technology office location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and issue temporary access badges in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems from the reception area; report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
