Sr System Integration Dev

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general direction of the Senior Manager II Data Engineering, designs, develops and implements sophisticated system integration solutions, specializing in advanced MuleSoft development and the seamless integration of technologies such as digital twin, Azure, MQTT, and Snowflake.  Monitors, debugs, and enhances the performance of applications.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees the end-to-end development of MuleSoft integration solutions.
• Provides technical guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of complex data integration projects.
• Defines and drive the strategic vision for data integration, aligning with organizational goals and leveraging advanced technologies such as digital twin, Azure, MQTT, and Snowflake.
• Architects scalable and resilient integration solutions as an individual contributor.
• Conducts regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training for the development team.
• Implements MuleSoft security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the integration processes.
• Performs performance tuning and optimization of MuleSoft integrations by writing and modifying code for data transfer between system: analyses logs, reviews errors and adjusts code to ensure efficient and reliable data.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive data integration strategies.
• Establishes and enforce coding standards, solution architecture, and best practices across the data integration team.
• Implements continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Provides hands-on technical leadership in solving complex integration challenges, ensuring the assigned project timelines and objectives are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Five (5) plus years of experience in enterprise integration development including advanced MuleSoft design and development and integration projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Skill in modern integration platforms such as Mule 4.3+, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint code builder, Advanced API Development and Design.
• Skill in integrating advanced technologies such as digital twins, cloud services, IoT protocols, artificial intelligence, and modern data warehousing platforms within complex data ecosystems.
• Skill in API design and development, including RESTful web services and the application of advanced integration patterns
• Skill  in using Design center, Exchange, API manager.
• Skill  in complex data transformation using Data weave.
• Skill  in providing production support of on-prem and cloud applications, monitoring and troubleshoot.
• Skill in integrating emerging technologies such as digital twins, cloud-native services, IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT), artificial intelligence, and modern data warehousing solutions. data warehousing within the broader data integration landscape.
• Skill in Mule connectors and develop custom connectors.
• Skill in general programming languages such as Java, Python and/or other advanced programming languages.
• Skill in applying Integration Patterns (Advanced), Anypoint Platform, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Advanced MUnit, Advanced DataWeave.
• Ability to design and implement  real time data API and automate back-office manual operations using automation tools including Mule RPA and AI.
• Skill in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Skilled in developing cloud hosted integration applications and integrating with various IT environments.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Skilled in cloud services related to application integration
• Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of  "Gen AI" technologies and methodologies.
• Knowledge of  Center for Excellence “C4E” best practices; ability to contribute to C4E initiatives.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for complex integration scenarios.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport’s Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) security access clearance within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for CBP security access clearance upon each CBP security access renewal.
• Must take Cyber awareness training within thirty (30) days from date of employment.
• Must be fingerprinted and pass a national fingerprint-based background check to access Criminal Justice Information within thirty (30) days from date of employment.
