Accounting & Finance Internship (2027)

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team to perform finance and administrative role in sales support. 

The role sits within the downstream division that provides solutions to the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. This is a role that supports the Sales Operations and Sales Account Managers in anchoring all aspects of sales support and general administration.  

Key components of the role:  

• Billing and payment controls and administration 

• Analysis of sales and billing performance 

• Validating month end financial accruals  

• Some general admin support 

 
Learning outcomes: 

• Understand the order to cash process, procure to pay process 

• Application of accounting concepts like revenue recognition 

• Communication and engagement skills, working with Account Managers and our shared services team to resolve billing or invoice collection problems. 

• Understand SAP system and other associated portals 

• Inventory management 

You would be best equipped for the role if you are (profile):  

• Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration, with a major in Finance 

• Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate in a team 

• Approachable and demonstrates willingness to support 

• Clear communication skills (verbal and written) and able to manage interfaces with other departments. 

• Organized, detail oriented, and has analytical abilities    

• Process oriented, adaptable, reliable and flexible  

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
