Description
VHR Blueprint is conducting a search for an experienced Employee Research Consultant for a confidential opportunity based in Philadelphia or Washington, DC.
This opportunity is ideal for an employee research or organizational assessment professional who combines strong quantitative expertise with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for business leaders. The Employee Research Consultant will lead employee engagement and organizational survey projects, conduct advanced statistical analyses, develop data-driven recommendations, and present findings to senior leaders.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute employee engagement, employee experience, and organizational assessment surveys.
- Lead survey projects from design and administration through analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including regression, driver analysis, and other statistical testing using SPSS and/or R.
- Analyze research findings and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Develop customized reports, executive summaries, presentations, and data visualizations.
- Present research findings and recommendations to senior business and HR leaders.
- Partner with consultants and clients to determine appropriate research methodologies and analytical approaches.
- Manage multiple client projects and timelines from start to finish.
- Contribute to research, thought leadership, and insights related to employee experience and workforce trends.
- Leverage emerging technology and AI-enabled tools to support research and analytics.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree or higher in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field.
- 4–5+ years of experience in employee research, employee engagement, organizational assessment surveys, or closely related work.
- Demonstrated experience designing, administering, and analyzing employee surveys.
- Strong statistical analysis skills with SPSS and/or R.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive-level reports and data visualizations.
- Ability to translate complex research and data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent analytical, writing, presentation, and project management skills.
Preferred Experience
Previous consulting experience in employee experience, employee engagement, people analytics, organizational research, or internal HR consulting is highly valued. Experience supporting business development, conducting research studies, developing thought leadership, and presenting findings to senior leaders is also preferred.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Minimum 3 days per week in office or with clients
