Position Overview
- Provide 1:1 and classroom-based behavioral support to preschool students using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and evidence-based intervention techniques.
- Support students with challenging behaviors across educational settings, including implementing behavior plans, reinforcing positive behaviors, and assisting with transitions and classroom routines.
- Collect, track, and document student behavioral data to monitor progress and inform intervention strategies.
- Provide hands-on support with daily activities, including toileting and other personal-care needs, while maintaining a patient, respectful, and positive approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Completion of a 40-hour Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) seminar or workshop
- 2+ years of ABA-based behavioral support experience with preschool-aged children required, preferably with children with autism spectrum disorders
- Current CPI Certification preferred, and valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of early childhood development, classroom behavior management, ABA techniques, and appropriate student safety procedures
