Spanish Language Teacher for Children in Campo Belo, SP, Brazil

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Spanish (ELE) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our learners in Campo Belo.

Job Information:

Ref. # 201206:

• Students: A 11-year-old child.
• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home near Sofisticase Ltda. (04622-001).
• Availability: Tuesday and Friday, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM.
• Lesson Frequency and Duration: Twice per week, 45 minutes per session.
• Current Spanish level: Beginner.
• Native language: Portuguese.
• Students' language needs and goals: Wants to continue improving her Spanish through reading, writing, listening, and practical exercises. Prefers clear explanations, a supportive teacher, and dynamic activities.
• Additional information: Also speaks beginner English. Enjoys sports, especially football and volleyball, drawing, physical education, arts, and learning new things. Enjoys reading, writing, and listening practice, but dislikes homework-heavy activities and extensive movies. Extroverted and enjoys dynamic lessons, games, conversation, and varied learning activities. May also need support with homework and school projects.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Spanish
• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years' teaching experience
