Your mission : 

An internship opportunity titled : Internship - Aircraft Systems Engineering  has just opened at Airbus India located in Titanium Tech Park, Tree Park Metro Station, Dinnur Main Road, near ITPL Main Road, Kadugodi Colony, Gramantana, Kadugodi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560067. You will join the Systems department in charge of Aircraft Controls & Actuation,  Propulsion  Controls,  Fluid & Hydro Mechanical Systems, Flight Warning System, Communication Navigation & Surveillance Systems and Helicopter Avionics .

Ideally, this is a 6 months internship and it should start in January 2027 (date subject to flexibility). 

Your main missions will consist of : 

• Assignments on systems engineering processes, modelling and simulation within Systems department for design, development, verification and certification of aircraft/ helicopter systems
• Assignments on automation/ improvement projects that assist in the design , development or testing of various aircraft systems
• Assignments for the preparation and maintenance of any relevant technical documentation for system requirements, design, certification compliance etc.
• Assignments on System Integration and V&V topics

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills 

This internship will allow you to develop the following skills: 

• Gain hands-on experience in Systems Modelling, Systems Engineering processes and practices used in the Aerospace Industry
• Opportunity to build knowledge of aircraft systems and their functioning during aircraft operations
• Develop soft skills to work and collaborate within in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree (B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech) in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics,  Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering. 

You possess the following competences: 

- Technical skills : 

• Knowledge in either  Control Systems or Fluid-Hydro Mechanical Systems or Avionics or Radio Communication or Propulsion Control Systems  
• Basic knowledge of Aerospace domain
• Proficiency with modelling tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, SCADE, AMESIM, Dymola or similar
• Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
• Proficiency with Google workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets etc.) is an added advantage
• Programming skill using Python, C or C++ is an added advantage

- Soft Skills : 

• Ability to work within a team of multidisciplinary and multicultural individuals
• Proactive to find innovative solutions and deliver
• Demonstrate sense of ownership
• Come with an open mind and demonstrate willingness to learn

- Language skills : 

• English : fluent (reading, writing & speaking)
• French : Beginner/Intermediate (speaking) will be an added advantage
