Customer Service Associate (CSA) / Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate (CSA) or Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a close-knit and family-oriented team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional service to a clients, managing a generalist book of business, and ensuring the smooth handling of certificates, endorsements, and other service-related tasks.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $40,000–$50,000 for CSA; $60,000–$80,000 for CLAM, based on experience and qualifications.
• Benefits:
  • 70% employer-covered benefits.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with certificates, endorsements, and other service-related tasks.
• Manage a generalist book of business with account sizes ranging from $10,000 to $1 million.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate handling of client needs.
• Support the team in a fast-paced environment by multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
• For CLAM candidates: Quote new and renewal business as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience:
  • For CSA: 2+ years of experience preferred, but open to candidates with some agency experience as a CSA/CSR.
  • For CLAM: 2+ years of experience in commercial lines account management preferred.
• Software Skills: Experience with Nexsure is a plus, but training will be provided if necessary.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
