Role definition of Manager/Senior Manager QA/QC of lab
Designation: Manager QC lab
Job position in hierarchy:
Director / CTO
Manager (Referred position)
Assistant manager
Senior chemist/executive /Chemist
Key role on the organization:
To monitor, control and assure the quality of the products of the organization through analytical facility by making quality plan and execution with team as per QEHS policies.
Loss to the organization in the absence of above post:
1. Loss of analytical support to control parameter of process.
2. Loss of Quality Management of product and customer satisfaction.
3. Lack of training and managing team.
4. Loss of control on QEHS system.
Key result areas
1. On time completion of quality reports on daily basis.
2. Managing team as a mentor.
3. Inter departmental coordination.
4. Quality plan and execution.
5. Ensuring the process control as per quality norms.
6. Ensure strictly QEHS policies (ISO 9001, 14001, 45000, R2) are followed.
7. Ensure Quality of Finished goods are as per specification & high light the deviation if any.
8. Monitor and improve the performance of the team.
9. Develop new analytical methods as and when required.
10. Handle the customer complaints on quality of products.
11. Budget preparation and future planning of lab.
12. Handle internal and external Audits.
Competency profile expected:
1. Excellent Managerial skill.
2. Analytical, logical thinking.
3. Good Communication skill in English and Hindi.
4. Planning and time management.
5. Proper Documentation and data analysis.
6. Interdepartmental coordination.
7. Handling customer complaints, Internal and external Audit.
8. QEHS system knowledge-HIRA & AIA, experience to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, R2 process.
9. Handling Analytical equipment like ICP-OES/MS/MP-AES, AAS, XRF, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, particle size analyzer, spark Analyzer, conductivity meter.
10. Analytical Method development on both classical and instrumental for new products and processes.
Experience: 12-15 years for Manager and 18-22 years for senior manager
Qualification: M.Sc./Ph.D. in Analytical chemistry/General chemistry/Inorganic chemistry/Industrial chemistry
CTC: 12 to 15 Lakhs/annum
Location: Greater Noida
Travel requirements: To technology center at Greater Noida once or twice a month, customer place, supplier place based on the requirement and other places for conference/training once in a year.
