Description

About the Role

As Product Performance Manager, you will support the performance, pricing and portfolio analytics strategy for BOQ Group's retail deposit portfolio. This is a highly visible role that combines commercial insight, strategic thinking and advanced analytics to drive portfolio growth, profitability and customer outcomes.

Working across Product, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Distribution and Data teams, you will provide data-led recommendations that influence key business decisions. You will be responsible for translating complex portfolio and pricing data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities to optimise performance, and supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of the deposit portfolio through robust analysis, market insight and strategic thinking. You'll play a supporting role in governance and decision-making forums, while driving continuous improvement in reporting, modelling and analytical capability across the business.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of deposit portfolio and pricing analytics, including data extraction, transformation, visualisation, interpretation and communication of findings.
  • Develop trusted reporting, dashboards and financial models that explain portfolio performance, customer behaviour, profitability and key value drivers.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise deposit growth, retention, mix, margin and customer outcomes, working with the Product Domain and other stakeholders to translate insights into agreed actions.
  • Deliver pricing analysis, scenario modelling and market monitoring to support informed deposit pricing decisions and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Work across Retail Banking to support carded rate implementation and pricing governance, including impact assessment, approval materials, decision records and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Maintain robust analytical controls and continuously improve reporting and data processes through automation, standardisation and fit-for-purpose technology.

About You

You are a commercially minded leader with a strong analytical background and a passion for using data to influence strategic outcomes. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving business challenges and can confidently communicate insights to a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.

You bring significant experience in product, portfolio, pricing or commercial analytics, ideally within banking or financial services. Your technical expertise allows you to work confidently with large and complex datasets, while your commercial acumen ensures your recommendations balance customer, risk and financial outcomes.

You are highly skilled in data analysis and visualisation tools, with strong experience in SQL, Databricks, Power BI and financial modelling. You have a proven ability to influence decision-making, build strong stakeholder relationships and lead initiatives that improve performance and deliver tangible business results.

Most importantly, you are naturally curious, collaborative and driven by achieving outcomes that create value for customers and the organisation alike.
