The Opportunity:
Onsite Trainer
Position Purpose
The Onsite Trainer is responsible for ensuring that all employees are properly trained, qualified, and prepared to work safely and effectively within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with GMP requirements, ensuring adherence to work instructions, and accelerating the onboarding process for new employees.
The Onsite Trainer provides structured training programs that enable employees to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to perform their roles independently and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onboarding and operational training for all new employees joining the production organization.
- Ensure employees understand and comply with GMP requirements, site procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Train employees on the correct, safe, and efficient use of production equipment, tools, and systems.
- Maintain training records and support compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Monitor employee progress and verify competency through practical assessments and qualification activities.
- Identify training gaps and develop corrective actions to ensure workforce readiness.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams to maintain up-to-date training materials.
- Support the implementation of new processes, equipment, and procedures through effective training programs.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP principles and quality system requirements.
- Experience delivering training, coaching, or mentoring employees.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, production processes, and workplace safety practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage employees at all levels and adapt training methods to different learning styles.

- New employees are fully trained and qualified within defined onboarding timelines.
- High levels of compliance with GMP, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Reduced onboarding time and faster achievement of operational productivity.
- Positive audit outcomes related to training and qualification processes.
