What Makes This Role Great:
In this high-impact position, you will serve as the trusted face of the Corporate IS department, optimizing enterprise IT processes to elevate technical operations across the organization.
Key Exciting Responsibilities:
You will support a variety of end-users and software developers onsite in our Lake Oswego office, and other US-based locations. You will interface and collaborate with other IS departments to ensure that the office and users are working efficiently and that their technical needs are met. You’ll provide world-class customer service and work with a cohesive global IS team.
- Support end users with help desk support and deployment of hardware and software.
- Display a high-level of customer service and professionalism.
- Resolve issues individually or in conjunction with other IS staff and resources in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate with peers, other IS staff, IS management, business group managers, and other employees in support of end users and the corporate IS infrastructure.
- Demonstrate and utilize excellent troubleshooting skills for all hardware used in support of Trimble’s computer user community, with a specific focus on Dell, Apple, and various mobile phones and tablets.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Vocational or Technological education in Information Technology.
- Alternatively, candidates with 6+ years of relevant experience and IT certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, etc., may be considered.
- Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
- Experience of providing exceptional and effective customer service with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Independently maintains and renews continuous relations with established suppliers, partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to document technical information in ITSM systems and maintain ticket lifecycle management effectively.
- Experience in asset lifecycle management.
- Thorough experience with: Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, tablets, printers, conference room equipment, etc.
- Foundational knowledge of networks, cybersecurity, client-server model, on-prem and cloud-based endpoint management platforms, etc.
- Proven experience with macOS and Linux to deploy and troubleshoot the OS using existing tools and documentation.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to enhance operational efficiency.
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with Google Workspace for enterprise collaboration and project management.
