Description
Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives while providing care that makes a difference every day! Cross Country Education is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate, school-based care to students in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Position Overview
- Provide skilled nursing care and health support to students across school-based settings, responding to individual medical needs throughout the school day.
- Monitor students’ health conditions, administer medications and treatments as directed, and respond appropriately to changes in health status or medical needs.
- Support students with pediatric and pediatric diabetes care, while maintaining accurate documentation and following established care plans and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed to promote student health, safety, and well-being.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification and successful completion of AHCA Level 2 background screening — required
- Valid Driver's License
- Pediatric and pediatric diabetes knowledge required, with experience providing care to pediatric populations preferred
