Your Opportunity:

Taylor Communications is seeking a Bindery Operator to join our team in Monroe Township, NJ. In this role, you will operate paper cutting and bindery equipment to accurately cut, trim, prepare, and finish printed materials according to production specifications.

Work Authorization:

Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate paper cutting and bindery equipment according to job specifications

• Cut, trim, prepare, and finish paper stock and printed materials for production and bindery operations

• Perform routine preventative maintenance, including blade changes, lubrication, and machine cleaning

• Inspect work for accuracy and quality throughout production

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies

• Perform other duties as assigned

You Must Have:

• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, and other job-related instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to become proficient in all aspects of the role within 90 days

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

• Frequently required to move inside the facility

• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience operating paper cutters, bindery, or finishing equipment

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or print environment

• Knowledge of paper cutter operation and maintenance

• Familiarity with bindery equipment and printing operations

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
