The City Council Office internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in local government, public service, and community engagement. Interns work alongside Council Office staff, and the City Councilmember, to support daily operations, assist with community initiatives, and gain a better understanding of how local government serves residents, businesses, and neighborhoods. Interns will also have opportunities to strengthen their communication, research, organizational, and professional skills while contributing to meaningful public service projects.
