Description

WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU

At Pfizer, our mission is to cultivate a best-in-class culture of continuous improvement and project management that empowers colleagues and streamlines effective processes. Whether you are managing projects or collaborating with others, your role in this team will contribute to making our work more efficient and impactful. By simplifying tasks and enhancing productivity, we can deliver breakthroughs that transform patients' lives. Your efforts will help us achieve faster and more effective outcomes, ultimately driving innovations that make a real difference in healthcare.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
The PGS Strategy Realization PMO Lead will shape and lead the next phase of the EMAP Project Management Office, translating PGS strategy and EMAP 2.0 savings commitments into coordinated projects and programs across all PGS functional areas. This highly visible role serves as the central integrator for EMAP Captains, PGS leaders, and enterprise partners—establishing one source of truth for savings, financial value, workforce transitions, milestones, risks, dependencies, and performance; connecting portfolio, network, and productivity initiatives; and enabling clear, timely decisions by the PGS Leadership Team and stakeholders across the enterprise. The successful candidate will embed Strategy Realization governance and reporting within Global Integrated Business Planning, strengthen risk and performance management, and transition the PMO to a sustainable Pfizer-owned operating model that can support EMAP 2.0 and future PGS transformation priorities.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

  • Lead the PGS Strategy Realization PMO supporting EMAP 2.0 and future strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Transition 4Q2026 PMO mobilization, governance processes, reporting standards, dashboards, and operating rhythms into a fully Pfizer-owned capability in starting in 1Q2027 to support our PGS, functional leaders, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain the single source of truth for transformation milestones, value realization, financial impacts, workforce implications, risks, dependencies, and executive decisions.
  • Coordinate reporting and governance across PGS Strategy, Finance, PX, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Audit, and Transformation Office stakeholders.
  • Partner with the PGS Finance to align savings definitions, forecasting, benefit recognition, and realization tracking across the portfolio
  • Prepare and present monthly Strategy Realization reviews, executive dashboards, value realization updates, and strategic recommendations to the PGS Leadership Team (T6)
  • Ensure Strategy Realization metrics, governance, and reporting are integrated within Global IBP processes and enterprise performance management routines.
  • Establish and govern the transformation risk management framework, incorporating outputs from the Q4 2026 PGS Transformation Risk Assessment and Corporate Audit review into ongoing PMO operations.
  • Track remediation plans, risk mitigation activities, audit observations, and leadership commitments through closure, while embedding sustainable controls into the operating model.
  • Provide enterprise-wide visibility of risks, dependencies, resource implications, and value delivery across strategic initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of digital, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled reporting capabilities that improve decision quality, transparency, and execution discipline.
  • Support long-range strategic planning by connecting strategy realization activities to enterprise priorities, business planning cycles, and value delivery commitments.
