Headmaster

<strong>Our client, a reputable private school is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and results-driven Headmaster. The successful candidate will serve as the critical link between the school, parents, and the wider community, ensuring academic excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.</strong>

<strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong>

Act as the primary liaison between the school, parents, community, and governing authorities.

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school’s growth and development.

Oversee the maintenance and optimal condition of school facilities.

Introduce and manage systematic methods for assessing pupil performance.

Maintain high standards of discipline and uphold school culture.

Convene and lead regular staff meetings.

Enforce school policies, regulations, and governance frameworks.

Oversee tuition collection and financial disbursements in collaboration.

Manage learner enrolment, transfers, inclusion, and expulsion processes.

Conduct classroom visits and ensure quality teaching and learning.

Allocate classes and responsibilities to teaching staff.

Drive talent management, staff development, and succession planning.

Lead marketing initiatives to increase enrolment and retention.

Engage with the Ministry of Education and ensure regulatory compliance.

Participate in Board-level engagements, contributing to corporate governance.

<strong>Person Specification, Qualifications & Experience </strong>

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Headmaster or a similar role.

Operational experience in a private school environment (ATS experience advantageous).

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Proven ability in strategic planning and school administration.

Marketing competence (enrolment growth & retention).

Sound financial literacy and computer literacy (ability to interpret reports).
