Essential Job Functions:
· Lead the end-to-end application packaging lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
· Create, customize, and maintain application packages using MSI, EXE, MSIX, PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT), and other enterprise packaging tools.
· Package, test, and deploy software applications in modern endpoint management environments.
· Perform application compatibility testing across supported Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
· Develop and maintain packaging standards, technical documentation, and deployment procedures.
· Review vendor installation packages and recommend optimal deployment strategies.
· Conduct application assessments and validation testing for operating system upgrades and feature updates.
· Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts to automate application installation, configuration, remediation, and removal processes.
· Utilize PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT) to create standardized deployment packages and improve the end-user installation experience.
· Develop custom detection, remediation, installation, and uninstallation scripts to support enterprise application deployments.
· Automate software lifecycle management activities and improve operational efficiency through scripting.
· Troubleshoot script execution failures and optimize deployment performance.
· Deploy and manage Win32 applications through Microsoft Intune.
· Design and implement application assignment strategies, deployment rings, dependencies, supersedence relationships, and targeting methodologies.
· Create and maintain detection rules, requirement rules, proactive remediations, and deployment policies.
· Troubleshoot Intune application deployment failures, policy conflicts, detection issues, and client-side problems.
· Analyze Intune logs, Endpoint Analytics, and Windows diagnostic data to identify and resolve deployment issues.
· Support Microsoft Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern endpoint management initiatives.
· Provide advanced troubleshooting support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints.
· Investigate application installation issues, operating system behavior, registry settings, services, user profiles, and device configuration problems.
· Utilize Event Viewer, logging tools, PowerShell diagnostics, and endpoint management tools to perform root cause analysis.
· Support Windows feature updates, cumulative updates, and application validation activities.
· Maintain and implement endpoint configuration and security settings in accordance with company standards.
· Collaborate with Endpoint Management, Infrastructure, Information Security, and Service Desk teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
· Perform root cause analysis for recurring software deployment and application-related incidents.
· Work directly with software vendors and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
· Participate in Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management processes.
· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members on application packaging standards, deployment methodologies, and scripting best practices.
· Provide technical expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex production issues while ensuring service levels and system availability objectives are met.
· Participate in on-call support and escalation activities as required.
· Maintain familiarity with Microsoft security baselines, audit requirements, and endpoint security controls.
· Develop and maintain documentation required to support internal and external audit activities.
· Monitor vendor portals, technical advisories, and release communications for software updates, patches, vulnerabilities, and lifecycle announcements.
· Partner with Information Security teams to ensure packaged applications comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced support staff with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Application Packaging and Deployment.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Intune
- PowerShell Scripting
- PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT)
- MSI, EXE, and MSIX Packaging
- Win32 Application Deployment
- Application Detection and Remediation Methods
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise application deployment and endpoint management issues.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and software deployment best practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Windows Autopilot.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Experience with Windows Autopatch.
- Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
- Experience with software asset management, inventory management, and license compliance.
- Knowledge of endpoint security controls, application control technologies, and endpoint hardening practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments with 1,000+ endpoints.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to research and resolve a wide variety of endpoint and application-related technical issues.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing business requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime, as business needs require.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
₹1.00 - ₹1.00Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
