About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of our specialty restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, preferably with experience in Lebanese, Levantine, or Middle Eastern cuisine, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing an assigned section of the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency while supporting the overall kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the preparation and operation of an assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and portion specifications.
• Support the preparation of authentic Lebanese and Levantine dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, and other specialty items.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Complete daily mise en place and ensure the section is fully prepared for service.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, storage, and rotation according to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic working environment at all times.
• Assist with receiving and checking ingredients and ensure proper storage and labeling.
• Minimize food waste and support effective inventory and cost-control practices.
• Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior team members within the section.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and other culinary team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Follow all hotel policies, food safety procedures, and health and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and flexibility in supporting the kitchen operation.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or high-quality specialty restaurant.
• Previous hands-on experience in Lebanese cuisine is required.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Lebanese dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.
• Experience preparing hot and cold mezze, grills, and other Lebanese specialties.
• Culinary diploma or relevant professional culinary qualification is preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
