The Role
The INT Finance Strategy & Integration Leader will serve as a senior Finance leader for INT and a key strategic partner to the Head of CMC & INT Finance. This individual will play a central role in integrating financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support across the INT organization while helping lead the broader cross-functional INT Finance team.
The role will own the consolidated INT financial planning and reporting framework, including direct ownership of the consolidated CMC financial model supporting short-term forecasts, long-range planning, performance reporting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making. The individual will ensure that financial assumptions, risks, opportunities, and business drivers are consistently reflected across the INT financial outlook and clearly communicated to senior leadership.
In addition to direct individual-contributor responsibilities, this leader will provide dotted-line leadership and coordination across the INT FP&A organization, including Finance partners supporting Commercial & Medical, Research & Development, and CMC. The role will establish common planning standards, drive alignment across functional Finance teams, and ensure that INT leadership has a cohesive and decision-ready view of financial performance.
A significant near-term priority for this leader will be owning the Finance readiness agenda for INT commercial go live. The individual will orchestrate Finance activities across functions to ensure that the processes, systems, reporting, controls, organizational responsibilities, and cross-company ways of working required for commercialization are established and operational. While the intensity of this mandate will be greatest in the first 6–12 months, the role will be responsible for transitioning launch-readiness activities into sustainable ongoing Finance capabilities.
This role will sit on the INT Leadership Team, engage frequently with Merck as Moderna’s alliance partner, and represent Finance in strategic, operational, and financial discussions across the INT organization. The individual will operate with significant independence and serve as a close partner and extension of the Head of CMC & INT Finance across a broad and evolving set of priorities.
This role requires exceptional judgment, financial and business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence across complex organizational boundaries without relying on formal authority.
Here’s What You’ll Do

- Drive scenario and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic choices, resource allocation, and business trade-offs.
- Synthesize complex financial and operational information into clear, executive-ready insights for the INT Leadership Team, Finance leadership, and other senior stakeholders.
- Ensure connectivity between INT financial planning and broader Moderna Finance processes, including Corporate FP&A and other relevant Finance organizations.
Consolidated INT Model Ownership
- Serve as the individual-contributor owner of the consolidated INT financial model, including short-term forecasting, long-range planning, and ongoing performance reporting.

- Partner closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Digital, and other business functions to identify Finance requirements arising from the evolving commercial operating model and ensure those requirements are addressed ahead of go-live.
- Develop and maintain a consolidated view of Finance readiness for the Head of CMC & INT Finance and other senior leaders, highlighting status, critical decisions, emerging risks, and areas requiring leadership intervention.
- Coordinate closely with Merck where Finance readiness activities depend on cross-company processes, data flows, operating assumptions, systems, or governance.
