You will operate a Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner, Shimadzu portable X-ray equipment, and a Delta digital radiography system. The position also includes providing C-Arm imaging support in the operating room for pain management injections and maintaining overnight on-call coverage following scheduled weekend shifts.

This opportunity is ideal for a multi-skilled Radiologic Technologist who prefers a weekend-focused schedule and enjoys working in a smaller hospital environment where independence, adaptability, and clinical versatility are essential. The position offers competitive compensation, a consistent Friday–Sunday schedule, complimentary meals three times daily, including weekends, and access to a fully furnished apartment attached to the hospital for on-call coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner to obtain diagnostic images while ensuring appropriate patient positioning and image quality.
  • Conduct general diagnostic radiographic examinations using the Delta digital radiography system.
  • Perform portable radiographic examinations using the Shimadzu portable X-ray unit for patients requiring bedside imaging.
  • Provide C-Arm fluoroscopic imaging support in the operating room, particularly for pain management injections and related procedures.
  • Support diagnostic imaging needs across inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and surgical settings.
  • Prepare patients for imaging examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Apply appropriate radiation protection techniques, imaging safety protocols, and infection prevention practices.
  • Evaluate diagnostic images for technical accuracy, positioning, and image quality, obtaining additional images when necessary.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, surgical teams, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate timely imaging services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and examination information in accordance with facility standards.
  • Monitor imaging equipment performance, identify operational concerns, and assist with routine quality assurance procedures.
  • Provide overnight on-call coverage from 7:00 PM–7:00 AM following scheduled weekend shifts, including coverage through Monday morning at 7:00 AM.
  • Respond to emergency and urgent imaging requests during scheduled shifts and on-call periods.
  • Participate in required holiday rotations and maintain flexibility to support departmental imaging needs.
  • Adapt to changing patient volumes and clinical priorities while supporting a smaller, multidisciplinary hospital environment.
  • Follow applicable imaging regulations, professional practice standards, and organizational safety policies.

  • Patient Care: Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, imaging quality, and clinical communication skills.
  • Clinical Flexibility: Ability to support imaging needs across inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and surgical settings.
