Store Manager - Station Park

We are thrilled to expand our team with a new opening for Store Manager at our upcoming new store in Station Park, Farmington, UT! The Store Manager leads the Station Park team and owns the store's sales, customer experience, people development, and daily operations. This role spends meaningful time on the sales floor, builds lasting customer relationships, and translates company priorities into clear goals and consistent execution. The Store Manager partners with Retail leadership and cross-functional teams to represent Cozy Earth in the local community and create a welcoming, elevated store experience.

Responsibilities:

Business and Sales Leadership

• Own store sales performance and manage payroll and controllable expenses within approved plans.
• Lead from the sales floor: coach in the moment, engage customers, and set the standard for product knowledge and service.
• Use sales, traffic, conversion, average order value, units per transaction, and category results to identify opportunities and set actionable team goals.
• Review results regularly with Retail leadership and adjust selling, staffing, and merchandising plans as needed.

Customer Experience and Community

• Deliver a warm, personalized experience that helps customers discover Cozy Earth apparel and home products that fit their needs.
• Build repeat business through thoughtful follow-up and customer outreach using approved customer relationship tools and practices.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and fairly, including post-purchase issues, in line with company policy.
• Partner with Retail and Brand teams on store events and local relationships that introduce customers to Cozy Earth.

Talent and Team Leadership

• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain a strong store team in partnership with Human Resources.
• Set clear expectations, provide frequent coaching and feedback, and complete performance reviews and development plans.
• Create schedules that support customer traffic, coverage, events, and approved payroll targets.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee concerns, performance matters, and policy application; build an inclusive, accountable team culture.

Store Operations and Inventory

• Oversee opening and closing, cash handling, deposits, store reporting, supplies, and facility needs in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory through receiving, transfers, replenishment, cycle counts, and timely investigation of discrepancies.
• Protect company assets through sound loss prevention practices and a clean, safe, organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Ensure online order pickup and other store-supported omnichannel services are completed accurately and on time.

Brand and Store Presentation

• Maintain Cozy Earth visual merchandising, product presentation, and store appearance standards.
• Execute floor sets, launches, signage, and promotional updates on time in partnership with Visual Merchandising and Retail leadership.
• Ensure the team follows the approved dress and grooming guidelines and represents the brand professionally.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of retail experience, including experience leading a store or comparable team; apparel and home retail experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales, coach teams, and build customer relationships.
• Experience managing payroll, scheduling, inventory, and day-to-day store operations.
• Comfort using POS, retail technology, customer relationship, inventory, reporting, and office tools, including spreadsheets.
• Strong communication, judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

• Work on site and maintain a schedule that meets store needs, including weekends, holidays, and occasional events.
• Stand and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom for extended periods; bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise up to 25 pounds.
• Use a computer, POS, mobile devices, and other standard store equipment to complete assigned work.
• Read and communicate information, respond to customers and team members, and make sound decisions in a busy retail setting.
• Perform the essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
