Lead Material Handler-N. Houston
Pay: $23-$25 an hr DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4:30 pm
- Assists Material Handlers to ensure branch success, excellent customer service, and uphold a positive company image.
- Responsible for all activities in the yard/warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks safely, properly, and timely and filling orders accurately.
- Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels including keeping the yard neat, clean, and orderly.
- Plan out daily tasks and goals to be accomplished and communicate them to the team daily.
- Strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods.
- Work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
- Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned.
- Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Supervisory experience and building material knowledge are preferred but not required.
- Education-High School Graduate or GED
- 3 plus years experience in a warehouse/yard position
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Bilingual Required
